Kit Kat Girls - For those of you that missed ANY of the rehearsals this week, we will be having a pick-up day on Thursday during the regular rehearsal time to go over Don't Tell Mama and Mein Herr. We will be using this time to give you extra practice

Everybody else- If any of you would like to practice Wilkommen again, please come to dance rehearsal this Saturday. It's come to my attentiont that some people would like more time on this dance, so while Nicole is teaching Two Ladies you all can practice Wilkommen in the back (without music - sorry).

Last Version of the Calendar

Sorry for all of the problems with the Calendar, guys. Scrap the old version - here is the final version of the calendar (barring any catastrophic mix-ups).

I'll send this out on email as well. Here is the final list of changes:

- Scene 1.8, 1.9, and 1.10 have been moved to February 3rd.
- Two Ladies has moved to February 8th. (The Febuary 5th rehearsal is still the same).
- On February 26th, we will also be rehearsing the Entr'acte, as well as Cabaret and I Don't Care Much. This rehearsal starts at 6, not 7.
- The performance on Saturday the 12th will start at 8, not 7. As a result, call has been moved from 5:30 to 6:30.

Just a quick note...

Some of the girls have suggested to me that before each Saturday dance practice we should go over the other dances we've done one time to make sure everyone keeps them fresh in their mind. So if you're in Wilkommen and would like some extra practice with it, please feel free to come to the first half hour or so of practices and brush up your steps.

Furthermore, for those of you that were in Don't Tell Mama (basically just the Kit Kat Girls and Sally), we'll go over that a few times this Thursday as well. We may not get the OLT again (especially if a Music student complains), so plan on meeting in Room 143. We'll try and clear out the desks for a bit.

Calendar Changes

EDIT: We will also be rehearsing scenes 1.8 and 1.9 on Thursday, February 3rd.

There are a few changes in the February Calendar that I need you guys to take notice of (there's also a new copy of the Calendar attached to this email):

1) I've moved the rehearsal of Scene 1.10 (with Cliff, Sally, and Ernst) to Febuary 3rd. I've also moved the rehearsal of Two ladies that was going to be on the 3rd to replace Scene 1.10 on February 8th. We rehearsed the Pineapple song this past Thursday (see the calendar if you're confused).

2) For the Act I Run-through on Febuary 17th, we may have to stay later than 9:30. I need for you guys to try and clear your schedules on that day so that no one is late or misses practice - we only have a few full Run-throughs before Opening Night. If you have urgent conflicts please email me NOW so that we can work it out.

Also, please try and be OFF-BOOK for the Run-through on the 17th.


3) I need a list of who currently has scripts - please email me if you do.

More Room Changes

Actors-

For those of you coming to rehearsal on Thursday:

We'll be meeting in Room 164B instead. They're still tiling, I guess. We will probably be working on the Pineapple Song in addition to 1.3 and So What, so look over that as well.

For those of you coming to rehearsal on Saturday: not sure where we'll be meeting, so keep checking your email.

ROOM CHANGE Tuesday 1/18

For Tuesday's rehearsal:

If you are in Willkommen and thus attending rehearsal on tuesday, we will be meeting in the Old Little Theatre. Room 143's tiling is going over schedule, and so we're in a different room.

Also, for those of you that are in my Cabaret class from 4-5 (which you all should join, by the way), we're meeting in Room 160B romorrow instead of 164B, as there is a presentation in the OLT during our class.

I don't have official clearance to use the OLT for rehearsal yet, but I do know that nobody's using it. I should know whether or not we'll need to move to another room before rehearsal tomorrow. In any case, just meet in the OLT for rehearsal tomorrow.

Dance Rehearsal 1/15 and Rehearsal Tues 1/18

Just a few reminders-

Today (Saturday)'s dance rehearsal will be upstairs in Rob's Gym. If you are in Willkommen (those of you who attended rehearsal on Thursday), you need to be there. This includes: Emcee, Kit Kat Girls, Kit Kat Boys, and Sally. If you know you have a conflict and have not told me about it, please email or call me before 5:00 tonight so that we can have someone stand in for you. Remember, Saturday rehearsals are from 6-8.

Tuesday 1/18 we will be going over Willkommen again, as well as scene 1.2, so everyone in those scenes should be there on time at 7.

For the future: Although it doesn't say so on the calendar, I would like everyone to try and be off-book for Act I by the first Run-through on February 17th. This is exactly one month from Monday, so please keep this in mind. The sooner you all have your lines and lyrics memorized, the sooner things will start moving smoothly.

Rehearsal Thurs. 1/13

Hello all -

Rehearsal on Tuesday went well... thank you for all showing up and doing such a great reading.

If, after yesterday's reading, you feel you will be unable to perform in this production for any reason, please let me know as soon as possible so that I will have time to recast your part.

On Thursday 1/13 we will be practicing "Wilkommen" (1.1) as well as scene 1.2, so if you are in these scenes (check the 2nd page of your calendar) please come to rehearsal promptly at 7:00 - we want to get started quickly.
